Software Engineer - Former Astrophysicist
NEW
I'm exploring opportunities in industry. Take a look at my
resume!
As a researcher, I used to develop computational methods and software to study exoplanets and their stars. My research focused on the
smallest and coolest stars, called M dwarfs, and the
variations in the light we receive from them (sometimes a planet).
✨ Highlights
⚙️ Software
jaxoplanet: analytical models of stellar light curves powered by JAX (code)
nuance: efficient detection of planets transiting active stars (code, paper)
prose: modular image processing pipelines for Astronomy (code, paper)
twirl: local astrometric plate solving in Python (code)
spotter: approximate fluxes and spectra of non-uniform stars (code)
